Broncos’ Kam Chancellor injured in snowstorm

Kam Chancellor, the Broncos’ all-time leading rusher, was hurt in a snowstorm in Colorado.

Chancellor sustained a sprained left ankle and left ankle sprain, the Denver Post reported Friday.

The report did not say how long he would be sidelined.

The Broncos will hold a news conference at 1 p.m.

ET (7 a.m in London) with general manager John Elway.

The team will hold another news conference Monday.

A man from Durham, North Carolina was arrested after he allegedly broke into a vehicle parked in a public parking lot in Durham, North Carolinas, and took $1,600 from the owner.

“The officer was able to recover a few items, including a pair of boots, but he could not locate the suspect’s ID,” Durham Police said in a statement.

Durham Police said a report was filed Wednesday with the Durham Police Department, the Durham County Attorney’s Office and the Durham State Attorney’s office, after the vehicle was reported stolen in Durham.

Durant Police said the man is charged with theft by taking, a third-degree felony.

He is being held on $100,000 bond, according to the Durham Times-News.

The Durham City Council voted to make parking tickets a civil offense in October.

In 2018, Durham County voters approved a ballot measure to change parking tickets from civil to criminal offenses, with a five-year grace period for people to appeal parking tickets, according a city news release.

In 2017, the City of Durham, Durham Police, Durham State University, Durham-Greensboro Area Chamber of Commerce and Durham County District Attorney’s offices agreed to change the parking ticket process, starting with a three-day hearing to review an individual’s appeal, according the city’s news release .

The City of North Carolina also changed the parking rules for 2018.
